The Moon

Did the United States land on the Moon? This was the subject of the discussion that my physics class had. At this time we are studying how to figure out what gravity each planet has and how much energy is needed to escape from it gravitational pull. When the subject finally comes we were talking about how much gravitational pull that earth had on the moon. People started to say that is why the astronauts needed land on the moon. They also bring up the point that the flag is waving when it is being planted. Some of the things that were brought up do help the theory that the United States didn’t land on the moon. One of them is that when the landing vehicle didn’t leave a blasting crater when it launched off the moon. They had pictures of it not having one. Do you see the problem that they have? You can’t have pictures of the vehicle when you not on the moon. Second of all, by the time you got up there again some space dust wave could cover the ground again. Next they say that as you look at the video of the astronauts on the moon that if you speed it up to 2x that it looks like they are running on the earth. I have seen it and it looks like they are running but they have a little bet more air when they push off the good. The Theorist also says that if you speed up the land rover that they had it looks like it is driving in sand. Of course it does, Neal Armstrong said that the ground was like powder. The next thing that they say is that it was all filmed in Area 51. The sand there is orange not gray so how is that possible. Did NASA paint the ground gray to film the whole thing? I can see why they would what to fake it, but do you really think that it is possible? There is a lot of other things that are used to try and prove this whole landing on the moon thing was fake. So if you what to not more about it look it up you self. Here is something for you to think about. Why would the astronauts say that they went to the moon, especially if one of them was an Armstrong?

The Amazing Weekend

Last week was a good one. On Tuesday I was standing in line to buy a ticket to go to the Taylorsville Girls Basketball game. They were going to state. When out of the blue a girl, Emily Johnson, walked up to me and asked me if I had been asked to Sweet Hearts. Of course I had not so I said no. She just walked off, not asking me or anything. So I decided that I was going to be asked in some creative way. That night when I was at young men's, Valerie Johnson asked me to Sweet Hearts. I had to come up with a way to answer her by the next day. So I did I got gold fish, swedish fish, had somebody get her locker combo, and then I put gold fish and swedish fish all over her locker. I had the swedish fish spell out the word yes on the inside of the locker door.

The date was awesome as well. We went ice-skating at the Olympic oval. Here is some advice for those that go ice-skating, wear long socks so the ice-skates don't rub against your skin. I didn't do this and know I have a big scab where the skates rubbed my skin raw. The dinner was pretty good to, but I have decided that chicken cordon bleu is a type of food that girls like for I have had that for every dance I have gone on. For the girls always ask for it. At the dance we waited in line for pictures for about an hour. That was fun to for we got a lot of talking in at that time. People that know Valerie from school would say that she is a very quite girl I have decided that she is not. She hated having silence during the date. There had to be some kind of noise even during the dinner when everyone was eating. I have to say though that she is a very good dancer. It is also nice to dance with someone that knows how to dance. It makes a huge difference in the night. After the dance we went to the other girls house and played games.

I had to do something that I have never had to do before. I gave up my coat for Valerie had forgotten hers in the car. For those that want to see pictures they are coming.

The Coolest Weekend this Month

Last weekend was the coolest. Let my start off with what happened last night. As many of you know I am the president of PLC this year. We were having a staff meeting on what our theme was going to be this year. Earlier that day Mom and Lynsie shared a scripture with me.
2 Nephi 1:21 “Arise from the dust, my sons, and be men” After praying about it and pondering upon it I decided to go with that scripture. I get to my meeting and we get to the subject of what our theme will be. I asked what everyone else chose for the theme. My secretary, Kyle Klein, said that he came up with 2 Nephi 1:20-23. I then asked how many people had come up with that theme as will. Everyone raised their hands. My feelings on this experience are indescribable by the English language. After that I knew that the Lord was directing us for some reason that we know not of. I also know for sure that the Lord guides and directs his servants in the direction he needs them.
Now from the beginning, I have heard from BYU-Id and have been accepted. I don’t know what track I am on yet for they haven’t sent that to me yet. Everyone at home is glade that I got this news for I was driving them crazy with it. So there is the good news about college.
More glad news is that I am getting my braces off in three months. I want them off so badly. It is going to feel great once they are off. Most of you know that already for you had braces when you were younger. For me though I am happy for I am a senior in high school. I will still have them off for the rest of the school year. People that make fun of others for having braces don’t have a clue what they feel like. It is pain when they tighten them up.
On Saturday I got to go to an Army Training Day. It was really fun for I got to miss with 50. caliber machine guns, M203s (grenade launcher for the M-16 A-2), and the SAW. That was really fun as well. They taught me some really cool things like how to take apart some of them. I have also decided not to join the Army for it doesn’t open the right doors that I want opened. I guess that is what I will have to tell Sergeant Johnsons. He is the guy trying to recruit me into the Army. I do have to say that I have a lot of respect for the soldiers in the Army.

The going ons

As you have read on my college update I was denied to BYU. I found out on Monday and I am still waiting to hear from BYU-ID. Other than that there hasn't been much going on. On Saturday I have been invited to go to Camp Williams with the Army. It sounds really fun. This week for school has been really easy for the past two day school hasn't started until 9:30 because of the UBESCT Test. It has been really nice to sleep in. Friday night I am going to Romeo and Juliet and the High School. Hopefully it is fun. I have to go for my english class. For I have to anylize the play. After this week and next I am going to be really sick of writing really stupid essays on really dump things. Other than that there isn't anything going on right now.
